Our mission is to assist  organisations to improve the lived experience of families. To achieve this, we work closely with the designated project team, agency staff and stakeholders, as well as members of the community to identify opportunities and solutions to address identified concerns.

3whitehorses have been a leader in the Victorian Family Violence Reform since 2016.  We offer expert advice and services to assist you to maximise your use of the MARAM Framework so your team can best identify and respond to family violence.

Our previous and current work includes reviewing the MARAM Maturity Model and co-authoring its report, facilitating MARAM Self Assessments and Action plans, reviewing policies and procedures, delivering foundational Family Violence training

Alison Maclean

Alison's strengths include culture and system reform, corporate governance, facilitation, change management, mentoring and partnerships. Alison is currently President of NESAY and Chair at Northeast Health Wangaratta.

Anthony Maclean

This includes facilitating MARAM Executive workshops, MARAM Self Assessments and Action Plans, and policy review and development.

Universal Family Violence Identification and Response training

We all have an opportunity to identify and respond to family violence. Join our online 3-part training (90 minute per session) to learn: What is family violence and why a shared understanding of family of violence is needed for risk assessment and safety planning. How prevalent is family violence in your area and what services are available. How you can respond collaboratively to family violence risk. The MARAM risk assessment and safety tools. What are the drivers of family violence and how early intervention can be part of your service response. How to maximise the benefits of using the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme. Fee $600 plus GST per participant This package can also be delivered in house on a fee for service arrangement.

MARAM Alignment – quality and compliance

Join our monthly Community of Practice to understand how MARAM Alignment is part of your agency's quality journey. Our 7-part online series (90 minutes per session) will cover: What is MARAM Alignment and why should it sit in the Quality space. How does MARAM fit with other quality tasks and compliance requirements. How to get the Board on board. What's the role of the Executive. What is family violence and why MARAM Alignment is an essential governance and practice approach for the universal sector. How to structure your agencies MARAM Self-Assessment. Measuring change: What is an Action Plan and how can you achieve it. MARAM Maturity: Tips to keep MARAM Alignment part of your Quality Framework. Fee $800 plus GST per participant.

MARAM Alignment – unleashing its potential

How to use the MARAM Framework to support your Board’s risk appetite statement. 3whitehorses can support Boards to assure themselves that family violence responses from their agencies are fit for purpose. Our 90 minute in house facilitated workshop, based in the MARAM frameworks four governance pillars, will guide Boards to better understand family violence and how they ensure that their agency is assessing and managing risk consistently and collaboratively to get better client outcomes. This session is also suitable for Executive teams. Additionally, it can be used for multi-agency and cross sector maturation of system responses to family violence. Fee from $2500 plus GST per session
